If there is one theme underlying the vast majority of my work, then that is ‘Time’; ideas of layering, ageing and fading, and after we’re gone, our legacy as individuals and as a people. The idea of entropy; that everything decays and returns to nothing. Wabi Sabi and ideas of accepting and celebrating imperfections. The patina of age that comes from layers of history.
